1. A (a). Draws up agenda for membership meetings and disseminates to BOD and general membership
1. A (b). Coordinates with other BOD members on agenda items for meetings.
1. A (c). Presides at general membership meeting; in the event the President is unable to preside then the Vice President will conduct the meetings.
1. B. Reports to the members on the activities of the PCR and WOCN
2. A (a). Conducts business related to PCR needing discussion, consensus and/or approval of BOD via various methods of communication.
2. A (b) Coordinates agenda items with other BOD members
2. A(c). Draws up agenda for BOD meetings and disseminates to BOD . 2. A (d). Conducts the BOD meeting; in the absence of the President, the Vice President will conduct these meetings.
2. A (e). Coordinate with Education Coordinator to arrange meeting room and menu for BOD prior to GMM
2. A (f). Include expectant expenses for all BOD meetings in President's annual budget
2. B (a). Secures a facility, geographically close to an airport when possible for onsite BOD Meetings; may work with a local WOCN to secure a hospital conference room, rather than hotel space, to reduce PCR costs.
2. B (b). Arranges for meals as needed for transition meeting
2. B (c). Communicate to all onsite location, hotel, transportation, meal arrangements to BOD members
2. B (d). Coordinate with Treasurer on the financial state of PCR as well as each BOD members budget
2. B (e). Secure a speaker for the enrichment and growth of BOD members as needed
2. B (f). Request written BOD Reports with annual goals from each Board member
2. B (g). Review/update strategic plan and goals for the coming year with BOD members and report to members at GMM, website and Timely Topics
2. B (j). Coordinate with Treasurer on all costs associated with the Transition meeting and in clued in President's budget
3. A. President's Operational Manual 3. B. Original copy of PCR Articles of Incorporation in the State of CA 3. C. Copy of CA Continuing Education (CE) Provider certificate 3. D. Copies of financial reports from the Treasurer
4. A. Complies with PCR By-laws pertaining to the office of President 4. B. Conducts PCR activities in an ethical manor 4. C. Complies with Robert's Rules of Order GMM and BOD meetings 5. Works with the Treasurer to maintain signature card for PCR financial institutions. Signs checks and/or drafts when Treasurer is unable
6. A. Notifies Treasurer of mailing address for PCR which will be the President's mailing address 6. B. Attends annual WOCN conference. If unable to attend, appoints another BOD to attend 6. C. Maintains contact with WOCN and other Regional Presidents 6. D. Contributes articles or information to Timely Topics (T.T.), PCR website and WOCN News 6. E. Submits all expenses to the Treasurer in a timely fashion for reimbursement 6. F Communicates with general membership via President's Report as the need arises 6. G. Updates BOD calendar and disseminates to BOD members as needed 6.H Performs other duties as needed by PCR
