Who's Who in PCR

This month's Who's Who is our new PCR Secretary, Jane Kling.

Jane graduated from the USC ET program and has been a CWOCN since March 1993. She received her Masters Degree as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Gerontology at Cal State University Dominguez Hills in 2000. In January, at the request of the Board of Directors, she graciously accepted the role of Secretary after Donna Lockhart was appointed to the role of PCR Treasurer. Jane has run for the office of Membership Coordinator twice in the past. She has been a regular in the O.C. WOCN peer support group.

Prior to her current role as the acute care CWOCN for Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier, she worked in home health for 5 years. Jane is married to George and has a 17 year old daughter, Aniko. They live in Huntington Beach.

When not working hard at the hospital educating staff nurses on ostomy and wound care issues, she enjoys reading, being with her family, traveling, going to the river to water ski and just doing nothing. Jane has even been known to go to rock concerts, like Wango Tango and KROQ's weenie roast. She may seem quiet, but her interest in a variety of music keeps her young at heart and spirit. Who would have known!
