Each of the award winners was astonished in their own ways to be this year's recipient of the spring awards. They each have demonstrated their amazement and sincerity in receiving their well-deserved awards. They have reminded us that being selected by your peers for an award is the highest honor one can achieve, according to many past award recipients.  Christine Herb lives in Palm Springs, CA with her "awesome" Italian husband of 18 years and daughter who is 12 years old. She has 2 stepsons and 4 grand children that also keep her busy. Christine is pleased to be recognized by her peers for dedication and hard work but doing what she loves to do. She owns and runs her own private practice called Beacon Nurse Consultants. She is amazed at how the explosion of new technology to wound care products has impacted the ET profession in the past 5 years. Over the next 5 years, Christine wants to maintain the success of her private practice while balancing time for her husband, daughter and God. She loves to study Gods word, pray, garden, improve her homestead, bike ride and go to movies. |
| Allison Adema was not present to receive her award but is thrilled to be the recipient. Glenda Hamberg, Anne Fischer, and Leddy Hoffman, her nominators from Cedar's Sinai Medical Center, will present her with her plaque. Allison is the Account Executive for KCI. |
| Theresa Russell could not believe she is the recipient. She will be attending the fall conference in Lake Tahoe and will be awarded her plaque at that time. |
 Shelley R. Burdette-Taylor was presented with her award by long time friend and colleague Janet Davis. A few tears of excitement and disbelief were shed by Shelley as she accepted her award. Her children present got to see how Mom's hard work pays off. Congratulations Shelley! |
