As you know, in 2008 the WOCN Society is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the first ever WOCN Conference. We want to take this opportunity to celebrate the history of the society, as well as, the field of WOC nursing. We need your help to make this event special! We'll be including member photos and stories throughout the 2008 Conference materials (registration brochure, newsletters, program books, etc.). Specifically, we're looking for: Stories. Please write up a brief sentence or two on one of your favorite moments from past WOCN conferences. Start your statement with, "Remember when..." Photos. Any photos you may have or be willing to share from past conferences. Please provide date and caption if applicable. Electronic images are preferred, but we'll handle any mailed in photos with the utmost care and return to you after scanned. WOCN items. Any "older" WOCN-related items you are willing to lend for us to display onsite during this year's conference in Orlando. Examples include: old newsletters, society publications, badges, pins, patches, etc. If you feel you have something else to offer, please let me know. Please send any materials to my attention at your earliest convenience as we are preparing to develop the 2008 Conference registration brochure (need by November 15th to include in brochure. Additional materials will go in other conference publications). I really appreciate all of your assistance which will no doubt help us create a very memorable conference. Thank you.
